Track
Partnership Program -
Short Track Pro Cup (STPC) is in the process of putting
together our 2009 Track Partnership Program. Through the
Track Partnership Program we are teaming with a number
of the actual real-life tracks which are on our schedule in an arrangement that
will be beneficial for both STPC and for the real
track. Each member track will sponsor the
corresponding STPC races that are run on the virtual
iRacing
version of that track by offering a few small prizes
such as T-shirts, caps and other merchandise. The
Track Partnership Program will allow both STPC and
member tracks to enjoy increased exposure throughout the
online sim-racing community and will be instrumental in
allowing STPC to achieve its goal of becoming the best
short-track experience on the internet.
At each Track Partnership Program event, we plan to
offer various prizes. Possibilities include a pole award, 1/2-way
leader award, blast-the-pack award (lead most laps),
hard-charger award (gain most positions) and of course a
victory award.
In return, STPC will display each of our Track
Partnership Program track logos on the
front page of our
website and on this page throughout the
season. In addition, we will make a
high-visibility announcement in the iRacing forums
and on other sim-racing forums around the internet regarding the
partner track and it's involvement prior to the
virtual race at that track.
The Track Partnership Program is a great way to increase
short-track exposure to a highly interested audience
that loves stock-car racing.

Letter to prospective partner tracks:
Dear Prospective Track
Partner,
I am the administrator and organizer of Short Track Pro
Cup (STPC). STPC
is is an online, virtual motorsports organization that
races late models and modifieds on short track ovals
using the iRacing.com
service. As short track aficionados, not only do we
love racing the virtual short tracks, but we are also
dedicated to raising general awareness among casual
motorsports enthusiasts of the great short tracks that
dot our nation.
With iRacing.com's recent NASCAR (http://www.iracing.com/newsEvents/article.php?id=106)
and IRL (http://www.iracing.com/newsEvents/article.php?id=114&lc=2)
partnerships being announced, we expect a large volume
of "casual" motorsports fans to join the iRacing.com
service. The bulk of these fans will have been exposed
to top-tier motorsports through mass media coverage of
big-league racing. At best, many will only be mildly
aware of the great, low-cost entertainment available at
nearby local and regional circuits such as your track.
STPC is in an ideal position to play
a big part in raising awareness among this group of
motorsports fans. For a very minor investment your
track can become involved in our STPC Track
Partnership Program and help us accomplish that
goal.
The value proposition:
By providing a very low-cost
sponsorship of the STPC race at the virtual version of
your track, such as providing merchandising items like
caps and t-shirts as prizes, you can take part in our
Track Partnership Program. In return, STPC will place
your track's logo prominently on our website throughout
the season including top billing for the week of the
race at the virtual version of your track.
In addition, we will announce the
STPC Track Partnership Program weekly on well-read,
virtual-racing forums both internal and external to the
iRacing service. Specifically, during the week of the
race at your track we will prominently announce your
track's involvement in the Track Partnership Plan.
This is a win-win situation. For
very little investment you can help us raise awareness
of your track and local racing everywhere while at the
same time allow us to draw top virtual short track
drivers to STPC helping us become the premier short
track racing series on the internet.
Our inaugural season begins on
November 4 and the race date at the virtual version of
your track is tentatively scheduled as shown below.
I welcome you to the STPC Track Partnership Program and
hope you choose to become involved.
Thanks for your time and
consideration,
-Mark Royer
