STPC Spring Short Track Internationals

The STPC Spring Short Track Internationals is the first event of the

STPC Short Track Thunder Series.

Both individual and team competition will be held.

 

Date/Time

Sunday evening, May 23rd - iRacing 2010-Season-2, Week 3

First heat 7:00 PM EDT, Feature 9:30 PM EDT

 

Entries (Entries are limited!)

Entries Open: Saturday May 1st (entries will not be accepted before that date).

Entry deadline: 11:59 PM EDT, Saturday, May 22nd (the day before race-day)

No entries will be accepted the day of the race.

Entry Fee: $3 (STPC Drivers free)

Entries are limited on a first come, first serve basis. 

52 STPC driver spots and 52 open spots for any iRacing subscriber are available.

 

(Note: All drivers are automatically entered into the individual competition, regardless of whether they are on a team.  You may form teams after you've registered; must e-mail updated registration info.)

Team Competition
Top three scoring drivers from team count
A team can have up to 5 drivers on roster

 

Team points are scored for finishing position, spread evenly from first to last as follows:
Heats - non-scoring
Consolation Race 3: 25 to 1
Consolation Race 2: 50 to 1
Consolation Race 1: 75 to 1
Feature Race: 150 to 1
-2 penalty for each inc point

no bonus points

Team results won't be announced until the next day

Procedural rules:

  • Results of races as scored by iRacing.com servers are final and will not be changed for any reason.

  • All drivers and teams must register by the end-of-day Saturday before the Sunday race-day.

  • Heats will be assigned Sunday morning and password e-mailed to drivers.

  • At end of heat while still in the heat server, in-race Admin will PM the password to each driver for his/her next race session.

  • Drivers must NOT exit the heat server until they get a password for their next race.  If a driver leaves (s)he forfeits his/her spot in next race

  • There will be an in-race, non-racing admin for each heat and the feature.  The consolation races will not have an in-race admin.

  • The in-race admin can issue penalties such as drive through the pits, mandatory speed safely in pits to get a bf and disqualifications. if driver refuses to follow a penalty, he/she will not receive the password for the next race

  • There will be an iRacing chat server set up at 6:30 PM EST . Until the last chance heat is over, the chat-server will always have at least one STPC admin in attendance to answer questions.

  • If a driver gives a password to another driver, the driver will be banned from future STPC events.  If a driver fails to comply with admins ruling in a race, the driver will be disqualified from the rest of event and may be banned from future STPC events.

  • All rulings by STPC officials are final.
