Rules & Guidelines

(1) To participate in the JaxCoffee Face-to-Face Club Competition Series (F2FCC) hosted on iRacerStuff.com, a club must sign up with Club Competition Administrator (Mark Royer -mroyer1@comcast.net  or Dennis Heaney - heaneyd@bellsouth.net) on or before August 1st, 2009. When signing up, designate a club-captain including his e-mail address.  Club rosters do not need to be designated.

(2) Before the start of the season, a club vs. club match schedule will be generated for participating clubs by the Club Competition Administrator.  Each week, each participating club will go head-to-head against one other participating club in a club match.

(3) A club race session is designated each week on the schedule.  The club race session is a standard iRacing race session.  All clubs race in the same club race session, but each club is competing only against the single club with whom they have been matched on the match schedule.

(4) In the club race, each driver scores F2F club points equal to his finishing position; i.e., first gets 1 club point, 2nd two points and so on. (Low score is good.)

(5) The club score is the sum of the top 5 drivers from each club. Low score wins. (If a club has fewer than 5 drivers, then each missing driver scores 15, one more than the max grid size in D-class.)

(6) If there are grid-splits in the club race, then each split scores equally, i.e., the winner of each split gets 1 point. (Scoring in this manner makes low strength-of-field splits just as important as the high ones making all skill levels equally important to the club's performance.)

(7) The club captain (or his designee) must submit the results of his team to the Club Competition Administrator within 24 hours of the race. The results submission must include a list of the top five scoring drivers from the club, the total club score and a link to each applicable iRacing results page for verification.

(8) The Club Competition Administrator verifies the scores, determines winner/loser of each match and updates and posts win-loss-tie standings on iRacerStuff.com.  If a club captain, or his designee, doesn't submit results then that club forfeits the match.

(9) The season lasts 10 weeks starting concurrent with the iRacing season.  The final three weeks will be the playoffs that will pit the top 8 clubs (seeding method to be announced) in a three tiered bracket for the overall F2FCC championship.
