Wednesday Is Club Day on iRacing
JaxCoffee presents the Face-to-Face Club Competition Series (F2FCC)
hosted on iRacerStuff.com. This series will be an exciting
adjunct to the standard iRacing club competition and will pit each
participating club against one other club every week in a win-lose
battle for club honor and bragging rights.
Through a 10-week schedule of one-on-one battles, clubs accumulate
wins and losses in an effort to make it into the playoff brackets.
Eight clubs make the brackets and in three weeks the overall F2FCC
champion will be crowned.
The F2FCC will include several conferences depending on the number
of participating clubs that sign up. Each conference will race
at a time appropriate to the conference time zone. For
example, western hemisphere conferences will race on Wednesday
nights at 9:15PM ET (1AM GMT). The F2FCC will race the D-Class
cars (to maximize driver eligibility) using regular iRacing sessions
alternating week-to-week between oval and road.
If you’re interested in racing for your club, check your club forums
to see if your club is participating. If not, take the reigns
and sign your club up! It’s as easy as designating a club
captain (who will have minimal duties each week) and sending a
notice to Mark Royer (mroyer1@comcast.net)
or Dennis Heaney (heaneyd@bellsouth.net)
that includes the club name, captain’s name and captain’s e-mail
address. The club captain could be but does not need to be the
official club manager.
The FTFCC will get underway on Wednesday August 4th.
Be there!
